Advanced DBT Skills Group
You know the skills. Now comes the harder part: using them when you actually need them.
For adults who have completed a full round of DBT skills training, this group offers a place to keep practicing when real life gets complicated.
DBT beyond the workbook
Knowing a skill in a calm moment is different from using it in a difficult conversation, a surge of emotion, or a familiar pattern. The group focuses on applying skills to everyday situations.
Who the group is for
This is an advanced group. Participants must have completed at least one full DBT Skills Group. It is designed for adults who want continued support with applying those skills.
What happens during group
We work with the situations that arise in members’ lives and consider how DBT skills can be used when they are needed most.
